IT'S A SIMPLE METHOD that leaves little room for error if applied correctly. It's easy to follow and ideal for getting started in drawing, with a simple recipe to which you simply add the ingredients of your choice to draw a variety of characters, very easily.

GETTING STARTED with a little methodology and the choice of materials. I then show you how to place the various elements of the face for a harmonious rendering, and how to draw a face seen from the front, profile and three-quarter view.

Once you're comfortable with the proportions, I'll give you my tips for drawing different characters: men, women, children, adults, and so on.

About the coach

I'm Manon Bordes aka Kuru, and I've been a pencil enthusiast since a very young age and a freelance artist since 2008, I got closer to the French manga scene by running Manga Ink, my own store selling special manga drawing materials between 2010 and 2018.

This professional adventure offered me many opportunities, such as working in collaboration with Clairefontaine to develop the Manga Paper range, or working with COPIC France, EIMA, CLIP STUDIO PAINT, Reno Lemaire, Mangadraft and FLEURUS Éditions on various projects.

Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to talk to people from all walks of life: artists, authors, manga fans, apprentice artists, teachers... and it's through these encounters that I've expanded my artistic and pedagogical knowledge.
